Done with turkey and latke leftovers from Thanksgivukkah Thursday?
Tired of stampeding crowds on Black Friday?
All shopped out from Cyber Monday?
Recharge your body and soul by giving back on #GivingTuesday with Jewish Family & Children's Service (JF&CS). Today, December 3, JF&CS joins more than 7,800 other charities, businesses, families, and individuals to transform the way people think and participate in this season of giving thanks and giving gifts.
Lend support to a new mom through our Lauren and Mark Rubin Visiting Moms® program. Make a weekly commitment to brighten a senior citizen's day through our Friendly Visitor program. Help sort, pack, and deliver food by volunteering with Family Table, New England's largest kosher food pantry.
Don't have the time right now to commit to one of our rewarding volunteer opportunities? You can also donate packaged food items to Family Table. We are always looking for non-perishable foods - specifically raisins, whole grain crackers, canned tuna, and peanut butter - to help families in need. These items can be dropped off directly at JF&CS Headquarters at 1430 Main Street in Waltham during normal business hours.
Together we can give better and give smarter. How will YOU give back this year?
