Separation and divorce, custody, visitation, and litigation are stressful for children, putting them at high risk for depression or behavioral issues. Most children, with the help of their parents, will adjust to living in a two-household family.

This five-hour educational program for parents is required by the state of Massachusetts for all divorcing parents with minor children. It is completed by attending two 2½ hour sessions and is conducted by JF&CS clinicians. The focus of the program is on the varied needs of children during the challenging time of disruption and transition that often accompanies divorce.

Pre-registration is required. To register, please call 508-755-3101. State regulations prohibit joint attendance by divorcing couples at the same session. Childcare is not provided.
