JF&CS Family Table has been named a Healthy Pantry Champion by the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB). This designation recognizes Family Table as being in the top 5% for nutrition focus among more than 600 food assistance organizations across Eastern Massachusetts that are supported by GBFB.
Criteria included the percentage of the food we distribute that is of the highest nutritional value, our inclusion of recipes with food distributed, and our support for clients accessing SNAP benefits.
For the last 20 years, Family Table has put the nutritional health of our clients at the center of our practices. We integrate nutrition best practices into every aspect of how we run our food pantry. We are proud that this Champion designation recognizes our commitment to “empowering people to make healthy eating a part of their daily lives.”
