Parent Connect is a free, confidential helpline from JF&CS that offers parents and caregivers a trusted place to turn when questions or concerns come up about your child, your family, yourself, or your next steps.

What is Parent Connect?

Parent Connect connects you with a trained JF&CS professional who will listen carefully, help you think things through, and guide you toward next steps. This might include connecting you with JF&CS programs or other trusted community resources. Parent Connect is available in English and Spanish.

Why Call Parent Connect?

Parents and caregivers contact Parent Connect for many reasons, across all ages and stages—from infancy through adolescence. You might reach out if:

• You’re worried about your child but aren’t sure what kind of help is needed;
• You feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin;
• A school, doctor, or community professional suggested you call; or
• Something has changed at home and you want to talk it through.

We also welcome calls from service providers, clergy, and other community professionals. Please reach out if:

• You are looking for consultation and resources for a family you are helping;
• You would like to refer a client for JF&CS services and other supports;
• You would like to learn what resources are available for the community, congregation, or populations you serve; or
• You are not sure where to turn for help.

What Happens When You Call?

When you reach out, you'll speak with a JF&CS professional who will listen without judgment, help clarify what's going on, talk through possible options and supports, and help identify next steps.
