When you are facing financial strain or struggling to meet basic needs, knowing where to turn can feel overwhelming. The Basic Needs Network helpline offers a welcoming, confidential place to start.

Our compassionate staff take the time to understand your situation and connect you with resources, guidance, and support—both within JF&CS and in the broader community—so you do not have to navigate these challenges alone.

How We Help

The Basic Needs Network provides free information, guidance, and referrals related to:

  • Food access, including grocery and pantry resources
  • Housing stability, utilities, and fuel assistance
  • Public benefits such as SNAP and other income supports
  • Financial assistance and short-term stabilization resources
  • Legal, immigration, and domestic abuse–related referrals
  • Connections to JF&CS programs and trusted community partners

Each call or inquiry is handled with care, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Our team works from a strengths-based, person-centered approach and tailors referrals to your unique needs and circumstances.
