When Elana began working with JF&CS, she was focused on building the skills she would need to live more independently. She started by strengthening daily living skills at home—planning meals, managing a budget, and caring for her family dog. As her confidence grew, she set her sights on employment. With individualized support from our team, Elana secured a job at a local audiovisual company, where she continues to thrive.
That success opened the door to new goals, including expanding her financial literacy and planning for greater independence. Today, Elana is actively working toward her goal of moving into her own apartment—guided by her own determination and supported every step of the way by JF&CS.
