What You Need to Know
- Some November payments have been issued. SNAP households who missed payments last week have now received their full November SNAP.
- Information about when benefits will be paid is changing regularly. Find the latest information on the state’s SNAP webpage.
- Your SNAP balance will still work. Any money already on your EBT card can be used as usual in November.
- Keep your case up to date. Complete any Interim Reports or Recertifications that are due.
- DTA is still taking new applications. Apply for SNAP now if you’re not already getting it, benefits are retroactive to your application date.
Apply at SNAP benefits (formerly food stamps). - HIP is continuing. You need at least 1 cent on your EBT card and must have received SNAP in the past 60 days.
- HIP monthly limits: $40 (1–2 people), $60 (3–5), $80 (6+).
- More info: Massachusetts HIP gives you money back when you use your SNAP benefits to buy healthy, local fruits and vegetables from HIP farm vendors.
