A community dinner for Supported Housing residents.

Each week, residents in our Supported Housing program for adults with disabilities meet for a group dinner. Recently, these dinners have included thought-provoking discussions about how residents can create the kind of community they would like to be a part of.

This year, the Jewish holiday of Tu BiShvat falls in February, which is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Since Tu BiShvat is a day dedicated to planting trees, our TeenSafe peer leaders started thinking about how growing a healthy relationship is similar to growing a tree.
