JF&CS’ free Memory Café Toolkit and Virtual/Hybrid Supplement provide step-by-step instructions to help you launch and sustain a Memory Café as well as templates you can download and adapt to fit your own program.

The Toolkit was last updated in 2019 as a public service by the JF&CS Alzheimer’s/Related Dementias Family Support Program with generous support from the Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging (MCOA). 

The JF&CS Memory Cafe Percolator ran a free learning community for Memory Cafes from 2014 to 2025 and developed many resources including this Toolkit. In 2025, the Percolator passed the baton for the Memory Cafe learning community to the Memory Cafe Alliance, however, this Toolkit continues to be available for free to anyone who wishes to use it.
