Matthew Appelstein and his wife, Judi, reside in Needham and they have two married daughters, Jamie and Melissa. The girls reside in Rye, NY, and Needham, MA. They also have four grandchildren: Ella, Avery, Lily, and Chloe. Matt is a graduate of UMass Amherst, where he majored in accounting. He also holds CFA and CPA degrees. Matt just recently retired from his role as the CEO of the Americas and Head of International Distribution for Eastspring Investments, an investment management firm headquartered out of Singapore. He has spent over 35 years in the investments industry. Matt is on the Finance Committee at CJP and a board member for a new healthcare startup. At JF&CS, Matt serves on the Finance Committee. His leisure pursuits include travel, golf, investing, and spending time with his growing family.
