Board of Directors
Jamie Adess Grossman served as President of the JF&CS Board of Directors, 2017-2020. A Realtor with Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, she provides expertise and guidance for clients throughout the home selling and buying process. A real estate entrepreneur, she founded and ran her own business connecting contractors with homeowners, greatly simplifying the home renovation and maintenance experience. Since joining the JF&CS Board in 2000, Jamie has served in many roles and committees including Vice President, Clerk, Officers, Hunger and Nutrition Chair, Development Chair, Annual Campaign Chair, Benefit Chair, Strategic Planning, Finance, Governance, Real Estate Task Force, Nominating and the CEO Search Committee. Jamie founded Shoulder to Shoulder, a program of JF&CS providing unique services and support to military families throughout Massachusetts. Jamie received the Betsy Gross President’s Award in 2015, and her family received the 2006 JF&CS Family Tzedakah award. Jamie serves on the Board of Overseers at Beth Israel Lahey Health and Dana Farber Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers Executive Council. She was honored to serve as Co-Chair of the Greater Boston Veteran Collaborative Steering Committee, member of Massachusetts General Red Sox Home Base Program Red, White & Blue Alliance. As a Rashi parent, she chaired Yachad and joined the Rashi Board of Directors. An avid cyclist, she enjoyed many years riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge. Jamie received a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the Boston University College of Communication and certification from the Harvard Business School Executive Education, Governing for Nonprofit Excellence. After raising her family in Weston, Jamie now lives in West Newton with Major Bob Kinder. She is most proud of her daughters, Jessica, Dana, and Lauren, son-in-law, Mike Kollaard, and soon to be son-in-law, Brandon Fisher. Health and fitness are a priority, and fly-fishing a passion.
