The Resources You Need. The Compassion You Deserve.

Mission

Jewish Family & Children’s Service cares for individuals and families by providing exceptional human services guided by Jewish traditions of social responsibility, compassion, and respect for all members of the community. We help individuals and families build a strong foundation for resilience and well-being across the lifespan, from infancy to old age.

For more than 150 years, JF&CS’s integrated services have helped people address mental health and well-being, economic insecurity, and disability supports.

Our staff of 300 professionals and 2,200 active volunteers serve more than 14,000 people each year throughout Eastern Massachusetts. JF&CS combines personalized, “high-touch” services with data-driven continuous improvement.

Communities Served

JF&CS is proud to be a caring presence in Greater Boston, on the North Shore, and on the South Shore, helping people of all faiths, races, and ages with the challenges of life.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

JF&CS serves clients of all faiths and cultures. We acknowledge and respect the fundamental value and dignity of all individuals. We are committed to creating and maintaining an environment that is welcoming of all and celebrates the uniqueness of those we serve, staff, volunteers, donors, and business partners.

JF&CS is proudly supported by Combined Jewish Philanthropies, the United Way, Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies, and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
