A monthly gathering in Marblehead for Holocaust survivors. Programs include movies, musical performances, and discussions.
Schechter Holocaust Services invites Holocaust Survivors of the North Shore to gather for an afternoon of wonderful music. Mikhail Sukharsky will sing old favorites. Light refreshments will be provided.

We invite you to join us at Café Hakalah, a monthly gathering of Holocaust survivors. Join us for a lively performance of Jewish music throughout the ages. Eric Greene will be playing Jewish classics including songs from the liturgy, popular Yiddish songs, and even a few by contemporary Jewish artists. Eric has been playing guitar and singing for nearly 20 years and combines his passion for singing and knowledge of Judaism to have a musical conversation with the audience.

Leonid Shapiro will perform Yiddish and Klezmer music.
Leonid Shapiro’s repertoire includes international pop and folk music. Leonid started playing piano at the age of five and by the age of ten, he was playing popular songs and melodies. He has performed popular music, jazz, and folk with different pop and folk bands in Belarus, Lithuania, and Leningrad, Russia, becoming a laureate of several festivals. Leonid represents the third generation of Jewish musicians from Belarus.
