Café Hakalah

North Shore

A monthly event in Marblehead for Holocaust survivors. Programs include movies, musical performances, and discussions.

For our September gathering, guests are invited to enjoy a presentation from Marjie Sokoll, Director of the JF&CS Betty Ann Greenbaum Miller Center for Jewish Healing. Marjie will speak about Rosh Hashana and sing holiday songs. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

Brookline

We invite you to Café Hakalah, a monthly gathering of Holocaust survivors. 

Please join us as we welcome back Marjie Sokoll, Director of the JF&CS Betty Ann Greenbaum Miller Center for Jewish Healing, who will speak with us about the High Holy Days as we prepare for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Marjie will lead us in a discussion about the High Holy Days and entertain us with treasured Jewish music!

Worcester  

We invite you to Café Hakalah, a monthly gathering of Holocaust survivors. Come and celebrate with music, food, and old and new friends. 

Join us for a lively performance of Jewish music through the ages. Eric Greene will play Jewish classics, including songs from the liturgy, popular Yiddish songs, and even a few pieces by contemporary Jewish artists. Eric has been playing guitar and singing for nearly 20 years and combines his passion for singing and knowledge of Judaism to have a musical conversation with the audience.
