JF&CS Opens Family Table South at Temple Beth Abraham in Canton
CANTON, MA (October 2015) - Jewish Family & Children's Service (JF&CS) and Temple Beth Abraham (TBA) are pleased to announce the opening of JF&CS Family Table South, which will be housed at TBA. JF&CS Family Table currently serves more than 400 families each month in 108 towns across Eastern Massachusetts, including families living in 45 towns south of the 128/93 highway extending from Dedham to Quincy. JF&CS is opening this new site in order to better serve clients living in these South Area towns.
Family Table South will be the hub for JF&CS to serve existing and new clients living in the South Area. It will also provide a wonderful volunteer opportunity for local individuals and families. Distributions in Waltham and Canton will take place on different Sundays each month, and volunteers living in the South Area are welcome to participate at either or both locations.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Temple Beth Abraham in this new expansion and we look forward to working with the Jewish community throughout the area," said Bernice Behar, JF&CS Family Table Program Manager.
