News & Event
Nationwide, 40% of adoptions are transracial. By understanding why children of color are over-represented in child-welfare, caregivers and parents can avoid perpetuating racism and embrace an anti-racist outlook to support the health and wellbeing of transracial adoptees and/or transracial foster youth.
The three sessions are meant to be taken as a series, and we strongly recommend participating in all three for most effective learning. This workshop series qualifies as parent/caregiver education for those adopting within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
