Our programs offer education, information, and support for older adults, families with children, new parents, and many others in need of assistance.

Adoption Resources Orientation

An informational seminar and overview of our programs, costs, and options for those interested in adoptions.

Pregnancy Support Group

Free weekly support group for women who are pregnant.

Parents of Toddlers Support Group

A weekly support group for parents of toddlers, aged 1 - 3.

Life After the NICU: Parent Support Group

A four-week in-person support group for parents whose babies have spent time in the NICU.

New Adoptive Parents Support Group

Join our new adoptive parents support group.

Mothering After Mother Loss Support Group

This five-week support group on Zoom is an opportunity for mothers of young children to explore how the loss or absence of a mother influences one's own parenting experience. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive and give support to others in the group.

Postpartum Depression Support Group - “This Isn’t What I Expected”

These groups offer the opportunity for mothers suffering from depression or anxiety to meet in a nurturing environment.

Parents of Multiples Support Group

Come share the unique experiences of mothering more than one baby.

Free Support Groups for Parents of Infants and Pregnant Women

Our new parents groups provide safe and nurturing spaces for mothers and/or fathers to give and receive support, ask questions, and begin building a parent community. Now meeting weekly via Zoom.

Fragile Beginnings Support Group

Free remote support group for parents whose infants and children were born prematurely or have spent time in the NICU, with a special focus on navigating challenges and celebrating successes.

Join us for a free webinar series offering practical advice for families of children with special needs. Our expert staff will explain your options and rights as you help your child reach their full potential.

Adaptive Yoga & Meditation for Kids

Join Abigail Julia of Mockingbird Adaptive for an hour of adaptive yoga, meditation, breath work, and mindfulness.

Book Club for Kids

Join Angela Waring, our Director of Social and Behavioral Supports, as she reads books out loud on Zoom.

Music Therapy for Kids

Join our Music Therapist for an hour of dancing and music with friends on Zoom.

Sibshops & SibConnect

Recreational groups for kids ages 8-12 and teens ages 13+ who have siblings with special needs. Meeting monthly for fun activities and outings.

HALO Swim and Sing

A family program model with lifeguarded swimming and professional music therapy for children with neurological and other disabilities and their families. JF&CS does not provide supervision.

Kids’ Connection Corner

A free program that provides children with autism ages 10-13 with the opportunity to participate in creative activities while making friends.

Our Adult Child Group offers adults who are supporting a parent or parents with Parkinson's disease the opportunity to share resources and find mutual support and encouragement.

Parkinson's Care Partner Support Groups

The Parkinson's Care Partner Support Groups help reduce stress for family members as they share strategies.

Tremble Clefs Chorus

The Tremble Clefs choral group is designed to help strengthen the voices of people with Parkinson's disease.

Parkinson's Therapeutic Movement and Dance

Therapeutic Movement and Dance targets the movement challenges of Parkinson's disease.

Living with Parkinson's: Education, Networking, and Support Group

We encourage anyone affected by Parkinson’s to join us.

ESL Classes for Elderly

This is a free conversational English program for Russian speaking tenants of Morville House and Symphony Towers.

Café Hakalah

A monthly gathering for Holocaust survivors. Programs include movies, musical performances, and discussions.

Balancing Act: Alzheimer's/Related Disorders Family Support

A monthly support and discussion group for adults coping with a parent's dementia.

JF&CS Memory Café

Enjoy coffee, refreshments, and conversation with new friends in a welcoming place for people living with memory changes.

Community Services

Suicide Loss Survivor Support Group

Providing suicide loss survivors with a safe, supportive and judgement free environment where they can express themselves, find comfort, hope and resources with others confronting the pain and loss of a suicide.

Partner Loss Bereavement Groups

The Betty Ann Greenbaum Miller Center for Jewish Healing is offering Partner Loss Bereavement Groups that provide emotional and spiritual support for adults who are grieving the loss of a partner/spouse.

Parent Loss Bereavement Group - Weekly

The Betty Ann Greenbaum Miller Center for Jewish Healing is offering a Parent Loss Bereavement Group that provides emotional and spiritual support for adults who have lost a parent.

Caring Communities Resource Network

The Caring Communities Resource Network (CCRN) supports synagogue efforts to create and sustain caring communities through synagogue and community-wide trainings, consultations, and conferences.
