These free groups meet once a week at a set time and location and provide support for mothers of babies (birth - one year old) and help them begin to build a community of mothers. The model of the groups is based on the philosophy of empowering each mother to find what works best for her and her baby, rather than giving specific advice.
Included in our support groups are: New Mothers Groups (including special groups for Spanish speaking new moms); Mothers of Twins, Triplets, and More; This Isn't What I Expected, a postpartum adjustment group; and Breastfeeding Support Groups; Mothering After Mother Loss; Mothering Without a Model and a support group for Gay and Lesbian Parents. Our Fragile Beginnings Support Group for parents of preemies are offered monthly and Sleep Conversations are offered throughout the year.
