Family & Community Services offers a comprehensive group of programs designed to strengthen families and support individuals through challenging times

Offers pre-adoption consultation, home studies, domestic and international placements, educational workshops, clinical services and community outreach.

Provides free advocacy, legal information and referrals to private attorneys. Cases are accepted for a range of issues including housing, consumer law, immigration, government benefits, individual rights and probate family law.

Promotes the healthy development of families at the earliest stages.

Offers programs and services that meet the basic needs of individuals and families for food, housing, clothing, and access to medical care and legal representation.

Provides emergency and monthly Kosher food, personal hygiene, holiday and ritual items for Jewish families, and also helps other low income families, isolated seniors and Waltham residents with monthly or emergency groceries.

Provides assessment and treatment by a multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists for a range of emotional problems.

Kol Isha provides culturally competent and religiously sensitive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, with specialized services for the Jewish community and the Russian-speaking community.

Reaches out to interfaith couples and their families to address the unique challenges that arise from differences in faith and traditions.

Assists refugees in the initial adjustment to resettling in America.
Provides specialized bilingual services including citizenship assistance, outreach to Russian adolescents and support for frail elders and single parent families.

Supports parents of severely neurologically impaired children.
