The Resources You Need. The Compassion You Deserve.
For 150 years, Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) has focused on a singular, powerful mission – to improve people’s lives. Guided by Jewish values, JF&CS cares for people at all stages of life who seek support, guidance, and a purposeful, independent life. We focus on serving particularly vulnerable populations including children and adults with disabilities or mental illness, new mothers and their infants, seniors living with chronic conditions, and people experiencing financial crisis, hunger, or domestic abuse.
Over the past decade, JF&CS has tripled in size to meet the growing need for our programs. Our staff of 700 employees and 2,400 active volunteers now serves more than 17,000 people each year in 250 Massachusetts communities. While continuing to provide personalized, “high-touch” services, JF&CS is increasingly committed to data-driven outcomes assessment to measure program impact and support continuous improvement.
Jewish Family & Children’s Service cares for individuals and families by providing exceptional human service and health care programs, guided by Jewish traditions of social responsibility, compassion, and respect for all members of the community.
JF&CS is the leading provider of comprehensive human services, delivering personalized and integrated care that improves people’s lives.
The JF&CS Family
Our leadership position in human services is due to the generosity and vision of motivated leaders, dedicated and skillful employees, caring donors, and passionate volunteers. As we strive to provide the highest quality of compassionate care, we aim to expand the JF&CS family – both those who are in need and those who can help.
JF&CS is proudly supported by Combined Jewish Philanthropies, the United Way, the Jewish Federation of Central MA, AJFCA, and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
