People with Disabilities

People with DisabilitiesJF&CS programs for people with disabilities are grounded in the belief that all people should live with dignity in the community and enjoy the rights afforded their peers regardless of their differences. Services reflect the values of individual autonomy, community inclusion, and care continuity.

JF&CS programs also make it possible for people with disabilities to maintain a Jewish home and participate in cultural and religious activities in the manner that is most meaningful for them.

To help you plan for your loved one's future, we have put together Unlocking the Doors to Community Living that you can download.

Thanks to a generous donor, JF&CS has been able to consult with local synagogues to help them create and enhance opportunities for meaningful inclusion of people with disabilities. The Synagogue Inclusion Toolkit offers congregations a starting point to assess their own accessibility and ensure that everyone can feel connected to the richness of synagogue life.
