 Aging presents many challenges that can overwhelm our usual ways of coping. The death of a spouse or child, isolation due to illness or disability, or moving from a life-long home are all examples of losses that can cause emotional stress for a senior. |

The JF&CS Solution – Comprehensive, Integrated, Personalized, Holistic
Mental Health counseling may not be the only services an individual requires. Our clinicians work in conjunction with other JF&CS Senior Services, such as the VNA, Home Care, geriatric care managers from Your Elder Experts, and Schechter Holocaust Services. Our goal is to provide services for the whole person – physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Referrals
Referrals for counseling come from hospitals, primary care physicians, community agencies, and other JF&CS programs. Individuals and families may contact us directly. An intake coordinator is always available to conduct a brief evaluation over the telephone and to facilitate scheduling the first appointment.
