Early Connections® is a therapeutic service for new families experiencing emotional difficulties in the transition to parenthood.
Postpartum depression or anxiety can leave a mother unable to cope with the physical and emotional demands of caring for herself and her infant. Our trained clinicians help mothers and babies find their way to stronger, healthier relationships.
The
Feeding Support program offers weekly support groups, training for clinicians and CERS volunteers, and provides information about community resources.
Fragile Beginnings provides services for parents of premature infants to help bridge the transition from hospital to home and to support the special challenges of parenting a premature infant.
Healthy Families Central Middlesex provides services for young parents. This program offers free home visits and group support for young parents who are under 21 years old and their families. Parents develop a special relationship with a home visitor who provides support to the family, information on child development, and access to community resources. Families may receive services until their child's third birthday. The program serves 22 Massachusetts communities.
The
Infant-Parent Training Institute is for experienced professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge and develop skills specific to clinical work with infants and families. It offers an integration of neuro-developmental and psychodynamic approaches to infant-parent psychotherapy.
Visiting Moms is a nationally acclaimed program for pregnant women and new mothers who are adjusting to an expanding family. A trained volunteer will come to the home for one hour a week until the baby's first birthday to offer nurturance, support, and encouragement.
