Chair Yoga for People with Parkinson’s Disease
Many people with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners report that yoga helps their body and their mood.
Vera Moshkevich, RYT, is a registered yoga teacher who has trained with and received certifications from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, the Mind/Body Institute at the Harvard Medical School, Yoga for students with Parkinson’s disease, Yoga for Older Adults, and multiple other yoga-related disciplines. Vera has twenty-five years of experience in practicing and successfully teaching yoga to various audiences.
When: Tuesdays: October 9, 23, 30 and November 6, 13, 20 (6 sessions, open enrollment)
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Where: JF&CS Headquarters
1430 Main Street, Waltham, MA
Cost: $90 for 6 sessions for one, $150 for a person with PD and a partner
(Financial aid is available.)
