Position Summary:
The CHAI Works Direct Care staff works with individuals with mild to moderate developmental disabilities and psychiatric needs, and assists clients in developing volunteer and work skills in an integrated setting. This staff would be responsible for working with clients in groups (1 staff:6 clients) as well as providing 1:1 support for clients within group settings.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- High school degree required. Experience working with individual with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to pass First Aid/CPR/MAP trainings
- 25 hour/week position (9am-2pm; Monday-Friday)
Position Summary:
The Sunday Swim and Arts Care Coordinator works directly with individuals with severe neurological disorders during a Sunday afternoon music and swimming respite program. Programs will take place at the YMCA in Stoughton, MA.
The program is held from 2:00 -- 5:00pm (staff time is from 1:45 -- 5:00PM), 25 Sundays a year. Salary range is $13-15/hour, depending on experience.

Care Coordinators offer assistance and support to clients at home and in the community. Responsibilities include:
- Case management and skills training in all areas of independent living.
- Goal creation and service/treatment plan implementation to increase learning and independent skill acquisition.
- Coordinating medical care, finances and budgeting
- Facilitating positive support plans and a psycho-social environment
- Identifying and assisting residents in community settings, including attending social/recreational events, planning weekend activities and assisting individuals with appropriate social interactions.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor degree related field and experience working with individuals with disabilities, or High School Diploma or Equivalency with four or more years working with people with disabilities, preferably in a residential setting.
- Ability to pass CPR, Basic First Aid and MAP within the first 3 months of employment
- Ability to be flexible in schedule-evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Position Summary:
This position includes end-user support, server and network maintenance, infrastructure support and IT project activities. Successful candidates will be excellent with prioritizing tasks, patient with non-technical users, like learning new things, problem solving and helping others. Generally, this position works in an office space with a personal computer, server room, repair room at one of our office sites. Physical demands of this job include: running wires in the ceilings, traveling to various offices/cubes, lifting and moving printers, computers and other IT equipment and driving to remote locations.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field helpful

Position Summary:
The OTR Program Specialist is a new full time position that will be shared between our growing Parkinson's Family Support Program and our Visiting Nurse Association (VNA). This position works to provide innovative community based programming for people with Parkinson's disease and their family/caregivers as well as providing VNA visits to seniors with varying diagnoses as part of our community rehabilitation team. The OTR Program Specialist works collaboratively with the Parkinson's Family Support Team and VNA staff providing clinical, administrative, programmatic and therapeutic services and has the opportunity to contribute to the development of new programs, trainings and workshops
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- MS in OT.
- Massachusetts state OT licensure
- Experience working with older adults with disabilities and their families in a community setting.
- Knowledge of neurological diseases and/or chronic disease processes required. Arts-related experience preferred. Group facilitation skills required.
- Must have driver's license & vehicle.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); ability to document in the VNA electronic record using a point of care device.
Position Summary:
The Legal Case Coordinator is responsible for conducting initial intake and assessment of clients’ legal and benefits needs, making referrals to panel attorneys or community organizations, researching legal matters pertaining to clients’ specific needs, providing appropriate advocacy on behalf of clients, developing materials for client education and performing related administrative functions in support of the Director and program operations. The Legal Case Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Bet Tzedek Legal Services and the SNAP/ Benefits Advocate to ensure effective case management.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, social work or related field.
- Applicant should have relevant experience with direct client services in the low-income population. Preference given to applicants with client intake and assessment experience, office experience, and/or Russian language skills.
- Applicant should be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook) and using web based systems is required.
